The Microbiology Division East Grinstead site is the sole manufacturer of SensititreTM AST plates. These are 96 well microtitre plates containing dried antimicrobial agents in various dilutions; used for identification and susceptibility testing of clinical bacterial isolates. Results may be read manually or automatically using the associated SensititreTM instrumentation range.
The production laboratory team is responsible for all technical manufacturing processes within this operation working in a medical device level laboratory and associated asceptic dispensing area to prepare and monitor production batches.
Position Summary:
You will work within the production laboratory and asceptic dispensing room to produce SensititreTM antimicrobic susceptibility plates. You will ensure H&S and quality standards are met at all times. You will work at all times to ensure compliance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice); and ensure our SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed.
