Job Summary

Our client is a leading electrical manufacturing corporation in Vietnam seeking experienced professionals to join its organization.

Define and advise senior management on R&D and technology strategy ensuring competitiveness compliance and market alignment.
Lead the central innovation and engineering organization serving as the core technical hub across multiple business units.
Establish and standardize development frameworks including processes design standards testing validation and certification.
Act as the main point of contact for business units on product development and technical support.
Ensure technology alignment and quality consistency across entities and production units.
Drive product portfolio planning and long-term technology roadmaps based on market trends and international standards.
Build and strengthen R&D capabilities including competency frameworks talent planning training and performance management.
Oversee the innovation and development project portfolio monitoring progress and execution effectiveness.
Plan manage and control the R&D budget assessing investment efficiency and commercialization outcomes.
Report to executive leadership on R&D performance risks and strategic initiatives.
Provide input on major technology and infrastructure investments including laboratories testing equipment and core platforms.
Perform other duties as assigned by CEO or Board of Directors.

Requirements

Bachelors degree or above in Electrical Electronics Automation Mechatronics or related fields.
810 years of experience in product development including 35 years in senior leadership roles.
Proven ability to manage group-level innovation or engineering functions across multiple business units.
Strong background in mass-production product development manufacturing technologies and quality systems.
Solid knowledge of development processes testing certification and regulatory compliance; experience with testing and certification bodies required.
Strategic mindset with strengths in project management people leadership and budget control.
Proficient in office productivity tools for reporting and presentations.
Hands-on experience with project or development management tools; ERP/PLM exposure is an advantage.
Understanding of digital transformation in product development is a plus.
Strong command of English for technical documentation and professional communication.
Excellent leadership analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
High integrity adaptability continuous learning mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
