Role Overview
As an Associate Design Engineer youll support the design and drafting of mechanical systems and assemblies across CRAs product lines. This is a hands-on role for early-career professionals who are excited to grow their skills across CAD modelling fabrication drawings piping layouts and structural design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of 2D models and drawings
- Generate manufacturing drawings BOMs and isometrics for fabricated parts and assemblies.
- Develop layout drawings including GA piping and P&IDs.
- Collaborate with project engineers and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Carry out basic simulations (thermal structural) and design validations.
- Update design documentation based on change requests and engineering feedback.
- Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
Requirements
- Diploma or in Mechanical Engineering.
- 24 years of experience in mechanical design ideally in Oil & Gas Energy or Industrial Equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and SolidWorks; familiarity with Plant 3D is a plus.
- Awareness of engineering standards such as ASME API ASTM ISO.
- Strong attention to detail willingness to learn and team mindset.
