Position Summary:
Repairs constructs modify makes and installs any wooden fixtures gypsum walls fittings or furniture. Installs and repairs door hardware
Qualifications:
DEP in Carpentry and 5 years of work experience is required. Competency card is an asset. Must have attended a construction safety course and obtained an ASP Construction card. English and French (functional) spoken and read. English or French (functional) written.
Hours of Work: 38.75 hrs./week; Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:45 pm. Incumbent will be required to be on 24/7 call-in for one week every 7-10 weeks/ 3875
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level 2 on a scale of 0-4.
