About the role

ARRCS are seeking an experienced and qualified Persona Care Worker to join their team on a 6-month maximum term assignment to support extended leave. This role offers part-time hours of 3pm-9pm 5 days per week and attracts an hourly rate of $36.59 - $38.19 / hour dependent on skills and prior years experience.

Your role as a Personal Care Worker will see you providing direct care and support to our residents within the facility. Duties include however not limited to cleaning bed making personal care including grooming showering and dressing mobility and assistance with meals. You will also support in general cleaning and laundry requirements when operationally needed.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role we would require you to demonstrate the following:

• Certificate III or higher in Aged Care Disability or Individual Care.
• Current First Aid Certificate Valid within 3 years.
• Demonstrated experience in assisting with the care services and daily living in an Aged Care setting.
• Demonstrated effective and clear communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment.
• Ability to commit to ad hoc casual shifts as available.
• An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions relevant to the role.
