Senior Trust Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Abuse Analyst to join our Payment Review Operations team. This individual contributor role plays a critical part in protecting LinkedIns members revenue and platform integrity by identifying investigating and mitigating payment abuse.

The role requires strong analytical capability deep payments fraud domain knowledge and the ability to independently drive complex investigations and operational improvements. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams contribute to global initiatives and help strengthen fraud prevention strategies through data-driven insights and sound risk judgment.

This role will be based in Bangalore India.

Qualifications :

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end investigations of complex payment abuse and risk-related escalations across LinkedIn product offerings ensuring accurate timely and well-documented resolution.

• Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to monitor payment activity identify trends and surface emerging fraud risks.

• Track and report weekly quarterly and annual operational and fraud metrics to monitor business health and adherence to industry thresholds.

• Propose practical process or tooling improvements to increase efficiency accuracy and scalability.

• Partner with Product Engineering Legal Compliance and Policy teams to support risk mitigation efforts and operational execution.

• Contribute to global cross-functional trust initiatives by identifying potential payment fraud risks and providing data-backed recommendations.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in payment fraud detection prevention or risk operations preferably within payments fintech e-commerce or social media platforms.

• 3 years of experience with SQL and data analysis.

• 3 years of experience in payment fraud services including investigations escalations chargebacks disputes and fraud mitigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with card network rules card scheme regulations and payment compliance frameworks.

• Experience supporting or contributing to cross-functional or project-based initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify threats and propose effective mitigation strategies.

Suggested Skills:

• Comfort operating in high-ambiguity high-complexity and cross-functional environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence through data and insights.

• Advanced data analysis and interpretation including SQL proficiency.

• Understanding of payments ecosystems including chargebacks and dispute resolution processes.
