About the Role
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented HR Services (HRS) Intern to support Foreign Worker (FW) administration at Penang Plant 1 (PGP1). This internship provides hands-on exposure to HR operations regulatory documentation and workforce administration with a focus on foreign worker lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Foreign Worker Documentation & Records
- Assist in organizing filing and maintaining foreign worker (FW) documents.
- Support preparation of renewal and exit-related documents for foreign workers.
- Maintain and update foreign worker records in regulatory databases and internal HR systems.
FW Coordination & Support
- Support handling of foreign worker queries at PGP1.
- Assist in coordinating permit renewal processes between foreign workers and external vendors.
- Track document status and follow up to ensure timely submission and completion.
HR Projects & Improvements
- Support improvement projects related to foreign worker personal filing systems.
- Assist in foreign worker recruitment activities as required.
Qualifications :
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry tracking basic formulas and reporting).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential documents.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working with databases spreadsheets and tracking systems.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
