We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Chief Engineer to join our team. As the Chief Engineer you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our property including all equipment maintenance services and protection of our assets. This role requires a collaborative and innovative leader who can ensure the structural integrity of our facilities while maintaining grounds and external amenities.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for all building systems and equipment.
- Supervise and manage daily activities of the department.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance staff fostering a culture of efficiency and innovation.
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.
- Manage capital improvement projects including budgeting planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve overall guest experience.
- Analyze energy consumption patterns and implement cost-effective sustainable solutions.
- Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities budget performance and key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of Engineering experience with 1 years at a management level.
- Excellent reading writing and verbal proficiency in English language.
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC electrical plumbing and structural components.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel Word & PowerPoint.
