Job Summary

Carbyne is partnering with a global top-tier innovative pharmaceutical company to hire a Head of Medical Affairs. This role is ideal for a seasoned medical leader who will lead a team of scientific advisors and MSLs driving medical strategy and cross-functional collaboration in a highly dynamic therapeutic area.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and lead the medical strategy and vision for the assigned therapeutic area.
Guide the execution of medical affairs plans ensuring alignment with corporate goals and budget oversight.
Lead coach and develop a high-performing team of Medical Advisors and MSLs ensuring excellence in scientific engagement.
Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders including Commercial Market Access Regulatory Clinical and PV teams.
Ensure close collaboration and scientific alignment with healthcare professionals key opinion leaders and scientific societies.
Oversee the implementation of educational initiatives for HCPs in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Ensure full compliance of medical activities with internal policies and external regulations.
Provide medical leadership in cross-functional projects brand planning and therapeutic area expansion efforts.
Monitor competitive landscape and gather medical insights to inform strategic decisions.
Identify training needs and foster continuous development of team members through coaching feedback and career development discussions.

Key Requirements:

Advanced degree in Medicine Pharmacy or Life Sciences; MD strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry including leadership responsibilities.
Proven ability to translate scientific data into impactful medical strategies.
Excellent communication project management and stakeholder engagement skills in both local language and English.
Strong ethical mindset proactive personality and commitment to high standards of compliance and collaboration.
