Job Summary
AECOMs Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager to join our ICT Team. This position is a remote working situation.
Our Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager will support a major fiber infrastructure standards initiative. This role will assist in updating and maintaining technical standards implementing quality assurance processes and supporting governance activities for a global program. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in telecommunications engineering quality management and training development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in reviewing and updating OSP standards specifications and guidelines.
- Support development of technical schematics drawings and documentation for clarity and compliance.
- Implement QA/QC processes for engineering deliverables and provide audit support.
- Collaborate with governance committees to prepare documentation for expedited approvals.
- Contribute to training content development and accessibility initiatives including multilingual support.
- Provide technical input for compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
- Participate in program-level coordination and reporting activities.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering telecommunications or related field 8 years of experience in fiber optic infrastructure QA/QC and standards development.
- Demonstrated experience managing quality programs and develop technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a support role.
- PMP or Six Sigma certification.
- Expertise in QA/QC frameworks and governance processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD GIS tools and documentation platforms.
- Familiarity with OSP standards and global compliance requirements.
