As a Tax Analyst in our Finance team you will spend each day defining refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job responsibilities
- Document and coordinate system requirements from a tax perspective
- Support team members by developing and laying out test plans for each defined requirement
- Collaborate closely with business and technology teams to manage defects including identification resolution and retesting
- Assist the team in understanding and documenting the end-to-end (E2E) impact of system changes
- Ensure issues are promptly raised escalated followed up and driven through to resolution
- Establish and maintain effective communication and engagement with key contacts across JPMC including Tax and relevant project teams
- Assist local management with other team initiatives as needed
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Ability to work with and use large amounts of data
- Good analytical skills a problem solver logical thinker with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written skills with clear concise & logical documentation
- Good communication negotiation and relationship management skills
- Excellent organization & planning skills
- Team player with ability work with colleagues in a collaborative manner as well as being able to proactively progress multiple tasks independently
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- 1 years of experience in Indirect Tax compliance; experience in Tax Tech would be an added advantage
- Working knowledge of automation tools (Alteryx / Tableau / Python)
- Background in financial services operations is an added plus
