Apprentice- Sports Turf Management

What youll be doing

This is hands-on practical work with plenty of variety and learning opportunities:

• Learning all aspects of turf care including mowing irrigation and turf health
• Assisting with preparation and maintenance of sports fields for play
• Operating and learning to care for turf-care machinery safely
• Monitoring and improving turf health through soil care and pest management basics
• Working alongside a team who will mentor and develop your trade skillset
• Taking pride in turf surfaces that players and communities rely on

Youll start under close guidance and build confidence and ownership as your skills grow.

What you bring

We want you to succeedand that starts with the right attitude not years of experience.

Youll need:

• A genuine interest in outdoor work gardening or sports turf
• A can-do mindset and willingness to learn
• Being comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather
• A current drivers licence or a clear plan to obtain one
