The RoleWe are seeking a motivated Steel Truss Roof Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in the residential construction industry while gaining hands-on experience on active job sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities- Assisting the leading hand with daily roofing tasks
- Using hand and power tools including drills and grinders
- Measuring cutting and preparing materials
- Working safely at heights
- Ensuring installations are level and square
- Maintaining a safe clean and organised work site
- Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Responsible and compliant with PPE and safety requirements
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to use a drill confidently
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Comfortable working at heights
- Reliable punctual and able to follow instructions
- Fast learner with good common sense
- Non-smoker
- On-the-job training and support
- Consistent work across the Perth metro area
