Leidos Australia have two full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) apprenticeships (B1 & B2) based in either Cairns or Darwin. This structured hands-on training program spans four years and leads to a nationally recognised qualification as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME). In this role you will;
Inspect troubleshoot maintain and repair electronic and / or mechanical aspect of an aircraft.
Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment.
Carry out maintenance tasks in accordance with the Maintenance manuals and specified procedures.
Be responsible for personal tool control accountability of tools and equipment and upkeep of the hanger workshop and any related work vehicles.
What Youll Bring to Make An Impact
Strong mechanical or electrical understanding and skills.
Ability and motivation to attend and pass required training to obtain a Certificate IV in Aeroskills.
Completed minimum of Year 10 or equivalent.
High level of attention to detail.
Be eligible to hold an ASIC card.
