Job Summary
HunterNet Career Connections are seeking a dedicated individualto joinour host company in Malaga WA as an Apprentice Fitter Machinist. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong work ethic who is ideally in their 2ndor 3rd year of completing the Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade.
Our Host company Regal Rexnordare a leading producer of motors and related components their essential products help keep systems running in mission-critical applications worldwide- including indoor air quality products used in hospitals homes and senior living facilities; industrial products that support food and beverage and pharmaceutical production; and conveying equipment and components that help warehouses function.
As an Apprentice your main duties will include:
- Assist trades with cleaning of gearboxes on arrival
- Disassembly of gearboxes and preparation of strip reports
- Assist in the assembly of new and rebuild gearboxes including assembly reports
- Assist with the set up of load testing of gearboxes
- Prepare parts for NDT testing
- Prepare finished gearboxes for shipping
- Painting and preparation for painting if required
- Assist trades with hydraulic pipework and hose connections
- Instrumentation fitting
- Prepare parts from warehouse ready for assembly
- General workshop maintenance and cleaning as required
