Quality Assurance Supervisor 2nd Shift

Based in our Sherman TX plant you will work in a dynamic high-tech production facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures compliance with customer requirements while leading coaching and coordinating staff and inspection activities. This role is for 2nd Shift which works a schedule of Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Maintaining a safe quality conscious and cost-effective operation.

• Leading training evaluating and scheduling work for teammates throughout the department holding regular toolbox meetings to discuss performance against targets problems and the days work schedule.

• Planning and driving the completion of training and development of assigned personnel in support of achieving objectives including attaining the necessary degree of cross-training.

• Driving Quality Improvements Initiatives including the promotion and achievement of continuous improvement of cost and lead-time reduction.

• Ensuring effective team communication to maintain dedication to objectives and hold meetings.

• Implementing lean manufacturing strategies into assigned area(s) through kaizen events value stream mapping and 6 S.

For This Role You Will Need:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 3 years of demonstrated quality assurance experience with understanding of quality assurance standards and processes.

• Understanding of Lean manufacturing.

• Demonstrated leadership supervisory team building and problem-solving skills.

• Communicate effectively to provide information to all levels of employees in a global organization.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelors degree in related field.

• 3 years of demonstrated supervisory experience in quality or manufacturing.

• ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).

• Experience in process improvement and documentation in an ISO9001 environment.

• Supplier Quality Management experience.
