Job Summary

Senior Executive - Supply Chain Global External Supply Operations reporting to the Assistant Manager of Global External Supply Operations is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain planning and inventory management of commercialized finished good products supplied from external 3rd Party Partners.

The job holder will be accountable for delivering the Supplier Relationship Management model for a cluster of third parties supplying finished dosage forms and packaging into the North America market for both Rx and OTC. The Executive Supply Chain Management Global External Supply will manage the execution and tactical horizon of the commercialized products ensuring both supply and demand dynamics are considered in their decision making.

The individual will work with Commercial business teams Business Development New Product Launch Quality and Product Life Cycle Management to ensure a co-ordinated and coherent approach to 3rd party management.

In addition this role is responsible for supporting key business processes that drive continuous improvement and revenue.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) model by maintaining a close relationship with all Partners and provide support to how performance metrics and service expectations can be met.
  • Communicate all planning information necessary and in a timely manner to ensure the Partner meets delivery dates and customer demand.
  • Responsible for assessing product demand trends and engaging with Markets to understand demand uncertainty market intelligence and to challenge when necessary.
  • Develop the purchase plan over the 24 months planning horizon ensuring supply chain & inventory targets are being achieved and holding internal and external stakeholder to achieving those targets.
  • Engage in all executional activities to ensure delivery dates are met and adjustments to the POs/purchase plan are made to align with the market dynamics
  • Generate a weekly product release priority list for QA to ensure the right products are released to market at the right time and to assist the QA team to manage their resources
  • Generate product traffic priority list for Logistics to ensure the right products are released to market at the right time and the right cost.
  • Responsible for supporting the Inventory management process including target setting projections disposals and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate and participate in New Product Launch and Life Cycle management Projects.
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Education
    • Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities
    • Practical experience in manufacturing with a range of dosage forms and an understanding of manufacturing technologies
    • Good communication skills and relationship skills
    • Proven ability to lead ideally in a matrix managed environment
    • Expert in Microsoft Excel Power point presentations
  • Experience
    • 7-10 years experience in Pharma industry.
