The Police Prosecution Service (PPS) is looking for a motivated engaging individual to join the PPS team as a National Trainer within its Professional Development team.

You will be working with a highly motivated team in a supported environment offering excellent development opportunities.

The purpose of the PPS is to build Safer Communities through effective justice interventions and resolutions.

Your primary role will be developing and enhancing PPS staff capability primarily in the Central Auckland PPS office Federal Street Auckland. This would include delivering training (face to face and virtually) supporting (coaching and providing feedback) and delivering Introduction to prosecutions courses and in-office training sessions

This an exciting opportunity to play your part in building the capability of the PPS and contributing to a culture that supports NZ Police policy and strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will have training/facilitation/coaching and prosecuting experience with a positive can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills.

  • Current CPK at the rank of the vacancy you are applying for (Constabulary only).

Utu ā-tau Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence from $91844 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
