Job Summary
We are seeking a talented GitHub Architect to design and maintain enterprise-scale GitHub architecture across organizations teams and repositories. If youre passionate about cutting-edge technology and thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture & Platform Strategy
Lead the development and implementation of governance models policy frameworks and operating standards.
Establish and maintain GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) baselines and secure-by-default templates.
Design organization-wide branch protection CODEOWNERS and repository compliance strategies.
DevSecOps & CI/CD Architecture
Architect and standardize CI/CD frameworks while transitioning legacy tools to GitHub Actions.
Design secure reusable pipeline templates and define shared runner strategies (GitHub-hosted & self-hosted).
Establish environment promotion models artifact versioning and release governance patterns.
Operational Excellence & Scalability
Design repository scalability and performance standards including Git LFS architecture and monorepo/multirepo strategies.
Requirements
What You Bring:
Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and architecture.
Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices pipeline security and secure SDLC.
Proven experience designing enterprise-grade CI/CD frameworks.
Expertise in identity and access management SSO/SCIM integrations and RBAC models.
Experience in audit compliance and governance in regulated enterprise environments.
Bonus Points:
GitHub Administration / GitHub Advanced Security certifications.
Cloud Architect certifications (Azure or AWS).
DevSecOps Kubernetes and Terraform certifications are a plus!
Key Competencies:
Strategic thinking with hands-on technical execution capabilities.
Excellent communication skills with experience in architecture documentation and executive-level presentations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to operate in large-scale complex enterprise environments.
