Job Summary

Position : GCP Architect

Location : Atlanta GA (Onsite)

Term : C2C/W2/Full Time Role

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities

Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions on GCP
Lead cloud migration and modernization programs (Lift & Shift Re-platforming Re-architecting)
Define cloud architecture frameworks standards and governance
Implement high availability disaster recovery and security best practices
Work on multi-cloud / hybrid cloud environments
Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Optimize cloud cost using FinOps principles
Conduct architecture reviews and performance tuning

Technical Skills Required

Must Have

Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services:
- Compute Engine GKE Cloud Run
- BigQuery Cloud Storage Cloud SQL
- VPC IAM Load Balancing
Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager)
Experience with microservices architecture & containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
Strong knowledge of cloud security & compliance
Experience in cloud migration strategies

Should Have

Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Cloud Build)
Knowledge of data engineering & analytics (BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub)
Exposure to API management (Apigee)
Monitoring tools like Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring

Good to Have

Multi-cloud exposure (AWS / Azure)
Experience in AI/ML services on GCP
Knowledge of serverless architecture
Understanding of industry frameworks (TOGAF Well-Architected Framework)

Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
GCP Certifications preferred:
- Professional Cloud Architect
- Professional Data Engineer
