DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expedite the transfer of materials components tooling and paperwork between different manufacturing departments to ensure timely production processes.
- Review production schedules to identify shortages.
- Alert team members of any potential problems.
- Report on completion dates material changes shortages schedule status and schedule modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of material movement inventory counts and any discrepancies noted during handling.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Work closely with the manufacturing team and other departments to streamline material flow and address any material handling issues.
- Other tasks assigned by Management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-3 years previous experience in a manufacturing or material handling role is preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and inventory tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) regularly.
- Prolonged periods of standing walking and operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including exposure to noise dust and temperature variations.
- Standard manufacturing environment with adherence to safety protocols.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Move/Lift/Carry up to 50 pounds.
- Standing up to 8 hours per day.
