- Youll design build and operate the highly available cloud services that our AI features run on.
- Take full end-to-end ownership of deliverables driving tangible outcomes while mentoring and developing less-experienced engineers.
- Build a scalable and fault-tolerant infrastructure for running AI workloads using modern technologies.
- Develop robust automation and monitoring to support continuous delivery across multiple cloud providers.
- Develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and services to solve tomorrows challenges and keep our platform cutting-edge.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills in a modern programming language such as Go Python JavaScript TypeScript or Java. Go and Python are preferred.
- Proven expertise in applying distributed systems and cloud-native principles to build robust scalable software.
- Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines container orchestration (like Kubernetes and Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Familiarity with agile software development processes.
- A passion for tackling complex problems and a drive to learn new things.
- Fluent English language skills both written and spoken as well as excellent communication skills overall.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native tools like Gardener Istio Helm and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency with modern observability stacks including OpenTelemetry Dynatrace Grafana Prometheus to ensure performance.
- Familiarity with (generative) AI and related serving and inference frameworks such as v-llm or llm-d.
- Working knowledge of or experience in operating within the SAP Cloud Infrastructure (SCI) ecosystem.
