- Designs the library learning commons to provide welcoming flexible spaces that promote inquiry creativity collaboration and community
- Provides and advocates for equitable access to connectivity digital devices information resources programming and services in support of the districts strategic vision
- Plans budget with the principal and/or other administrators and maintains a balanced budget
- Manages the library learning commons facility resources and staff
- Reviews the library resources and program using a systemic process to ensure an equitable and culturally diverse collection and resources
- Curates and shares resources and tools
- Communicates information literacy program goals clearly
- Coordinate with library staff on the daily operation of the library and related areas
TEACHER INFORMATION SPECIALIST
- Collaborates designs and implements curriculum standards lessons and materials for: information literacy digital citizenship coding maker movement and other focus areas as directed
- Collaborates with teachers and administrators to integrate the information literacy digital citizenship and other focused area standards
