Position Summary:We have a Full Time Neurosurgery APP position available at Banner Northern Colorado Medical Center and Banner Fort Collins Medical Center. Banner Northern Colorado Medical Center is a Level 2 Trauma Center serving as the hub of neurosurgical care in the Banner Northern Colorado system. Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is a full-service acute-care hospital with a neurosurgery outpatient situated on high plains with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains Greeley offers a small town feel with big city attractions and entertainment. Within a short 1 hour drive you can surround yourself in the wilderness of Rocky Mountain National Park or catch a concert or game of any one of the four major sports teams in will include:Provide Neurosurgical care to adult patientsProvide care for patients in a variety of settings including ED ICU trauma and medical floors pre- and post- operative management and clinicIn clinic must be comfortable seeing new patients follow ups post ops and patients with/without be able to work up patients for surgical plan independently to review with the for assisting in urgent bedside proceduresFirst Assist in ORCollaborate and support entire clinical team in supporting our patientsProvide on call support in rotation with other PasQUALIFICATIONS:The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills and computer skills as well as be able to perform all tasks with accuracy is a team player and has a positive addition we are looking for the following:Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programoMUST HAVE SURGICAL ASSIST CERTIFICATION IF NP!!Current and unrestricted Colorado licenseCurrent and unrestricted DEA licenseCurrent BLSAbility to work in a fast-paced environment
