Maintenance Technician

Who You Are

The Episcopal Academy seeks a dependable detail-oriented maintenance professional who works effectively both independently and as part of a team. What You Will Do

Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting light carpentry drywall repair and basic plumbing and electrical work
Maintain and service heating cooling plumbing and HVAC systems including filter changes
Complete minor repairs (locks fixtures hardware etc.)
Support coworkers contractors and campus partners as needed
Assist with event setup and breakdown for campus programs and special events
Follow all safety regulations and policies
Assist with snow removal including shoveling salting sanding and operating snow removal vehicles and equipment (requires 24-hour on-call availability during inclement weather).

About You

The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician at The Episcopal Academy will possess the following:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Working knowledge of tools equipment and common maintenance systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Physically able to kneel climb lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
Clean driving record and ability to meet state and federal driving requirements
Ability to successfully complete required state and federal clearances
Reliable safety-minded and able to respond to on-call needs and emergency situation
Committed to contributing positively to a collaborative mission-driven school community
