What is the Opportunity
Nuclear s portfolio of building refurbishing maintaining and decommissioning nuclear power facilities reflects a record of project success that ranges from small but essential maintenance contracts to major construction endeavors. Aecon supports clients with expert project management to the most exacting standards.
Working with our joint venture partner Atkins Realis Aecon Nuclear has been awarded the definition phase contract with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to assist in planning the Pickering Retube Feeder and Boiler replacement (RFBR) project. This project involves the refurbishment of four reactors and replacement of the forty eight steam generators at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
Under the general direction of the Welding Program Lead and Welding Manager the Welding Coordinator will work with a team of Welding Specialists and Welding Supervisors. The Project Coordinator will support the team and welding program by preparing welding documentation training welding trades and supporting field readiness and execution.
