The Human Resources Division is now accepting applications for Director - Human Resources / Classified.
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent - Human Resources plans organizes controls and directs formal and informal negotiations governing the terms and conditions of classified employee bargaining unit agreements and employee health care and disability benefits plans; oversees classified employee relations performance management leaves unemployment insurance and health and benefits programs; assures compliance with legislation and related laws rules and regulations applicable to human resources operations and benefits; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.
The individual in this position will support a diverse workforce of represented and unrepresented employees and work in a complex regulatory environment that requires the consistent and equitable application of collective bargaining agreements the Education Code merit system rules and organizational policies and procedures as well as other applicable laws and regulations.
This position is full-time in-person and has a work year of 12 months 261 days 8 hours per day.Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2500 annual stipend for a masters degree and a $2500 additional stipend for a doctorate provided official documentation is submitted.
