Are you an experienced Cable Jointer who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a large Tasmanian energy company making a real impact on the underground infrastructure that powers Tasmania This is an opportunity that you do not want to miss out on!
As a Cable Jointer you play a pivotal role in ensuring connections are faultless through your meticulous installation jointing and testing of electrical cables confirming they are safely and securely installed. You will be exposed to the jointing of both old and new LV and HV cables including Polymetric Paper Lead and Consac.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be trade qualified (Cert III in ESI Power Systems Distribution Cable Jointing) and hold a Tasmanian Electrical Practitioners Licence. This combined with your proven ability to determine the most effective and efficient way to achieve results whilst focusing on continuous improvement is key to joining a high performing team.
Whilst desirable holding any of the following licences will be advantageous
- Medium or Heavy Rigid drivers licence
- High Risk Work Licence Dogging (DG) Elevating Work Platform (WP) Vehicle Loading Crane (CV)
Travel within the southern region of Tasmania is essential. Once required training is completed there is the ability to participate in overtime and the on-call roster.
