Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cable Assembly Technician to join our team. If you have a passion for precision work excellent soldering skills and a commitment to quality we encourage you to apply.

Ideal Candidate must have over 6 months experience

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm (Friday finish at 1.45pm)

Salary:

Competitive depending on Cabling and Similar experience.

Permanent after successful 12 week probationary period.

Responsibilities

Assemble and manufacture cable assemblies using automated and manual processes.
Perform soldering tasks including both fully automated and hand soldering to ensure high-quality connections.
Operate and maintain automated wire cut strip and crimping/twist & tin equipment.
Cable stripping
Cable prepping
Crimping
Cable Soldering

Qualifications

Proven experience in cable assembly or a related field.
Strong soldering skills with the ability to perform both automated and hand soldering tasks.
Familiarity with automated cable processing systems and related equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic understanding of high-voltage insulation testing and automated testing processes is a plus.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
