Job Summary
ibis Sydney Barangaroo is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager who loves people and is passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences. This service-minded individual will join a small engaged team thriving in an environment full of growth and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the daily operations of the hotel
- Drive guest satisfaction and loyalty by innovating and continuously enhancing the quality of guest service
- Take initiative to ensure every guest interaction is positive professional and productive
- Actively resolve guest requests complaints and challenges in a timely and effective manner
- Support team growth by providing guidance recognizing contributions and fostering learning and development
- Ensure the health safety and wellbeing of all guests patrons and team members
Qualifications :
What We Are Looking For
- Previous Front Office and Food & Beverage managerial experience
- A service-focused personality with proven leadership capabilities
- Experience with Opera Cloud or a similar property management system
- Ability to make independent and confident decisions
- Strong leadership skills: lead by example foster a positive team culture and drive high performance
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform well under pressure
- Outstanding written and verbal communication interpersonal and leadership skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid certificates
- Full working rights in Australia
