Job Summary
As Night Auditor you will undertake the following duties:
- Assist the Night Manager in cross checking and balancing work completed during the day
- Maintain accurate guest accounts
- Assist with night maintenance /cleaning and guest requests as needed
- Ensure all diary events flats and specials are actioned
- Ensure an accurate cashiering balance is performed at the completion of shifts
- Ensure security procedures are maintained according to policy
- Liaise closely with housekeeping on information relating to rooms and lost property
- Ensure guest registration forms are completed correctly
- Ensure all account postings are accurate and necessary paperwork is completed.
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Ensuring the safety of our guests throughout the night
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- Full Australian Working Rights- this role is not available for sponsorship
- Service focused personality and the love of working through the night is essential
- Ability to work flexible schedule including ability to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays shift hours are from 11pm 7am
- A good understanding of finance and accounting practices
- Prior experience working with Opera Cloud or a related system
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Multi-tasker that is highly organised detail-oriented and able to manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to lead by example believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
