Job Summary

Automation Developer / Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Automation Developer to design build and support secure scalable automation solutions that drive efficiency and business value across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex business processes into reliable high-quality automation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build secure scalable and modular automation workflows aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
Develop automations that integrate with databases APIs and enterprise platforms applying coding where required to extend functionality.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand document and translate business processes into effective automation solutions.
Monitor deployed automations troubleshoot issues and continuously optimise performance to ensure stability reliability and minimal business disruption.
Implement robust exception handling retry strategies and QA processes to deliver high-quality automations that meet compliance and risk standards.
Create and maintain technical documentation specifications and support materials to ensure transparency traceability and ease of maintenance.
Stay up to date with automation trends and best practices identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous process improvement.

About You

Proven experience developing automation solutions (e.g. RPA workflow automation or similar platforms).
Strong understanding of system integrations APIs and data handling.
Solid coding skills (e.g. Python C# Java or similar) to extend automation capabilities.
Experience working in regulated or risk-aware environments with a strong focus on quality and security.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive mindset with a passion for optimisation and innovation.
