Job Summary

St Vincents Lismore are seeking are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Technician to join our maintenance team and support the safe reliable operation of medical equipment across our healthcare aged care campus and work collaboratively across the Lismore Diocese if required at times. This role is critical in ensuring devices meet regulatory safety and performance standards while providing highquality technical support to clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance testing calibration and repairs on biomedical and medical equipment
  • Testing and Tagging
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment faults in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate service records in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Support commissioning installation and decommissioning of medical devices
  • Provide technical advice and training to clinical and operational staff
  • Manage vendor liaison service contracts and warranty repairs as required
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards and safety guidelines
