Data Management Specialist

Trellis a nonprofit in Minneapolis MN is looking to hire a full-time Data Management Specialist (DMS). As a DMS you will manage and ensure data quality in Minnesota Aging & Disability Resources and Help Me Connect websites. You will be responsible for problem-solving creating and managing data and conducting research. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DATA MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

You will work with a team to maintain data for the Minnesota Aging & Disability Resources and Help Me Connect websites. The DMS provides timely and excellent customer service to internal and external customers. They are responsible for understanding the data context to guide decision-making regarding updating website content targeted at consumers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in human service English library science or information technology.
• Minimum of three years of related experience including one working with databases.
• Experience designing implementing and interpreting SQL database queries is a plus.

• Knowledge of data-driven websites database-based computer applications and the use of taxonomy for coding data.
• Preferred knowledge of human services human service agencies and government legislative and public policy processes is a plus

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is a hybrid role working in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and remotely for the remainder of the week. Our business hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
