The AmeriHealth Hospice is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Technical Support Specialist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Technical Support Specialist you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our staff ensuring the seamless operation of our hospice care services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware software and network issues.
- configure and maintain computer systems and applications.
- Collaborate with external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Train staff on the proper use of technology and software applications.
- Monitor and maintain the security of systems and data.
- Assist in the implementation of new technology solutions.
- Document technical procedures and solutions for reference purposes.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems networks and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a healthcare or hospice setting is a plus.
- Certifications in relevant IT fields are an advantage.
- Experience with EMR systems and healthcare software.
Salary & Benefits:
The Technical Support Specialist position offers a competitive salary range of $110000 to $120000 per year commensurate with addition we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance retirement plans paid time off and professional development opportunities.
