Since starting in Perth in 2012 CMW Geosciences has expanded to 22 offices with over 330 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working down-to-earth and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation analysis and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Perth office in Wembley is looking to hire a Principal Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 15 years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically our team is looking for an engineer who can provide analysis design and technical advice for our clients across Western Australia. Youll also play a key role in training and upskilling our junior engineers and geologists and ensuring the highest standard of technical excellence is maintained.

This role is suited to a consultant who has developed a well-rounded practical and hands-on career in geotechnical engineering. At this time we are not looking for a geotechnical design engineer.

What Youll Need

A Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology Degree
15 years experience in a geotechnical consultancy
Australia and specifically WA experience is highly preferred
CPEng or equivalent professional registration
5 years experience working in Australia
Good interpersonal skills
Exceptional organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
