As an Aircraft Performance Engineer youll play a critical role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. Youll work closely with Engineering Flight Operations Flight Dispatch and Load Control to deliver accurate datadriven performance solutions. This includes maintaining certified performance data administering Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) tools designing departure procedures supporting route planning and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Youll also contribute to weight control functions and help enhance operational performance through analysis and automation.

Youll have:

  • A Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2 years of relevant aviation experience
  • Strong knowledge of lowspeed and highspeed aircraft performance
  • Experience with aircraft performance tools (OPT Flysmart Guru2) and OEM performance software
  • Understanding of CASR Part 121 and CAO 100.7 weight control regulations
  • Proficiency in Golang and Python to automate calculations and develop analytical tools
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate effectively in a riskmanaged timecritical operational environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple operational stakeholders
  • Experience in aircraft weight control loading schedules and weight/CG management (desirable)
  • A teamfocused mindset with the ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement
