Role description:
We have an opportunity for an Associate Director - Project Management to join our Local Government team delivering projects across London and the South-East. Youll be leading service delivery and work on a range of exciting projects including complex and challenging housing development and regeneration projects and programmes at all stages.
As an Associate level Project Manager/Employers Agent you will deliver excellent client outcomes by leading and providing senior thought leadership as part of teams delivering built asset projects predominantly but not exclusively to local authority clients.
The team are currently working on several housing led mixed-use regeneration projects with projects sized 100-350 units and construction values of 40m-385m.
Role accountabilities:
- The day-to-day delivery of high quality profitable services to clients and working with colleagues to manage multi-million projects and programmes from inception through feasibility design and planning stages construction completion and occupation/operation
- Helping to create project plans and then executing and managing them effectively for clients managing risk change and programme delivery effectively
- Assembling and leading multi-disciplinary design and consultancy teams often with a mixture of Arcadis colleagues sub-consultants and consultants appointed by the client
- Acting as Contract Administrator Employers Agent for JCT contracts or Project Manager for NEC contracts.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Relevant professional qualification
- Experience leading housing regeneration and mixed-use projects in London from inception to completion
- Skilled in managing complex project portfolios and programme management
- Strong change management experience in regeneration environments
- Ability to align projects with economic development and sustainability goals
- Proven excellence in project delivery client care and growing commissions
- Experience working with London local authorities or registered providers
- Effective leader of multi-disciplinary teams and partnerships
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement negotiation and public sector procurement
- Knowledge of project management and employers agent services especially in design and construction
- Proactive learner with a drive for innovative and digital solutions
