Job Summary

The South Shore Regional School District is seeking a dedicated Horticulture/Landscape Construction Instructor for the CTI Night School Program. This position will be on a part-time basis working Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM starting on or around 1/12/2026. The weekly schedule will be determined by the Director of Community and Career Development. Compensation is $62.00 per ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the horticulture and landscape construction fields and a strong commitment to student learning. Responsibilities include:Instructing and demonstrating practices across the broad field of horticulture with emphasis on the scientific and technical knowledge required for career and modeling proper safety practices procedures and industry standards at all and implementing instructional plans and hands-on learning activities within the horticulture greenhouse and designated positive and professional relationships with students by delivering relevant instruction and adapting lessons to meet individual learning and planning curriculum-based projects aligned with horticulture concepts and program techniques in both group and one-on-one settings to support students with lessons assignments projects and opportunities for students to expand their knowledge and practical skills through experiential worksites business partnerships and hands-on workshops that enhance real-world routine maintenance of program tools equipment and greenhouse additional related duties as Details:Start Date: Monday January 12 2026End Date: Thursday May 7 2026Schedule: Monday through Thursday 4:00 PM 8:00 PMRate of Pay: $62.00 per hourLocation: South Shore Technical High School 476 Webster Street Hanover Mass.
