The Kilburn site contains manufacturing galvanising and warehouse facilities servicing a national branch network of warehouses and sales teams.

We have an opportunity for you to join our team at Korvest as our new Mechanical Fitter to join Korvest Ltd.
Scope of the Role:
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor the Mechanical Fitter carries out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of equipment which includes mechanical and hydraulic presses roll forming machinery press tools guillotines overhead cranes and hoists in accordance with Australian Standards and Korvest Ltd guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities on machinery and equipment
- Fault finding diagnosis on machinery and equipment
- Conduct regular maintenance checks to identify wear and tear or potential mechanical failures
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic system faults
- Dismantle and reassemble mechanical parts using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals to determine specifications and ensure accurate assembly as required
- Recording and reporting on corrective actions from maintenance requests
- Assist production with die setting and die changeover as required
You will bring:
- Minimum Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) or similar
- Previous industry experience in a maintenance role
- Experience in the repair maintenance and assembly of machinery and equipment
- Sound time management skills with an ability to prioritise competing tasks
- Current drivers licence and forklift licence
- Yellow card for scissor and boom operation (advantageous)
- Restricted electrical licence (advantageous)
- Experience with Roll forming machinery (desirable)
