As a key member of the EMEA Communications team the Communications Manager Internal & Owner Communications will play a pivotal role in shaping our Owner Communications strategy and supporting broader internal communications across the region. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging timely and effective communications that align with Marriott Internationals priorities and values.
Based in London this position operates in a dynamic hybrid environment and offers an exciting opportunity to join an award-winning team bring creative ideas drive engagement and make a real impact within our Communications department.
Scope
- Location: London (Hybrid)
- Language Requirements: Strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Travel: Willingness to travel within EMEA participate in training and host/attend evening events
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Owner Communications strategies aligned with business priorities
- Support internal communications initiatives across EMEA ensuring consistency and engagement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely and impactful messaging
- Manage multiple projects timelines and deliverables effectively
- Utilize platforms such as SharePoint Teams and intranet systems for content delivery
- Contribute creative ideas and storytelling approaches to enhance communication impact
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Prior experience in internal communications PR marketing or corporate communications
- Hospitality or hotel industry experience is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing demands
- Tangible communications experience with measurable impact
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent writing grammar and storytelling skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across disciplines
- Strong project management skills: managing timelines deliverables and cross-functional input
- Self-starter with initiative and strong workload management
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Well-organized able to multitask and prioritize effectively
