About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR & ER Advisor to join our HR Advisory team on a 9-month fixed term contract based in Birmingham.
As a key member of our HR and Employee Relations team you will provide proactive practical support across the full employee lifecycle with a strong emphasis on employee relations. Working closely with managers partners and the wider HR function you will offer guidance on HR policies performance management employee wellbeing and ER matters such as investigations disciplinary processes and conflict resolution.
You will ensure all advice is legally compliant aligned with the firms values and contributes to a fair inclusive and highperforming workplace culture.
Location: Birmingham with travel to London
About you:
Were looking for someone who can demonstrate solid HR experience at Advisor level within a regulated environment with the confidence to take the lead on a broad range of disciplinary grievance and performancerelated matters. Youll also bring experience managing more contentious issues along with the assurance to liaise directly with ACAS and external solicitors when required.
To succeed in this role youll offer a strong track record of delivering resultsfocused HR support and providing creative pragmatic solutions that help managers navigate complex situations. Youll pair this with excellent uptodate knowledge of employment legislation and a clear understanding of how to apply it in practice.
Youll be equally comfortable working autonomously and collaborating as part of a wider team bringing a proactive flexible and adaptable approach to your work. Strong communication skills are essential enabling you to build trusted relationships across the business and provide clear confident advice.
To this role you will bring a high level of organisation with the ability to plan prioritise and manage a varied workload effectively. Youll also have strong IT capability particularly in Excel and PowerPoint and the confidence to use these tools to support informed decisionmaking and smooth daytoday delivery. Alongside this youll bring a commercial mindset: someone who thinks ahead anticipates challenges and identifies practical workable solutions that add real value and help drive positive outcomes.
