The Business Development Coordinator for eBay Live is critical in supporting the platforms growth and scalability. This role focuses on managing the global seller pipeline qualifying high-potential applicants and driving seller activation through lead vetting cross-functional collaboration and process optimization. What you will accomplish...

Top-of-Funnel & Pipeline Management

  • Drive platform growth by stack-ranking applicants based on engagement live-selling presence category needs and audience size to prioritize high-value candidates.
  • Develop and oversee leads in HIVE/Salesforce for the BD team concentrating on seller qualification and prioritizing according to category strategy demand and business needs.
  • Maintain the health of the funnel by evaluating approximately 500 seller applications weekly producing at least 10% leads.
  • Own the seller application denial process improving candidate communications and feedback loops in collaboration with GCX and Seller Success.

Traditional BD Support

  • Schedule and conduct 68 discovery and onboarding calls each week while providing support to the BD team as required.
  • Handle research emails and connect with potential sellers to pinpoint promising prospects in partnership with category managers.
  • Work closely with BD managers for seamless handoffs and to prioritize strategic opportunities focusing on US-based sellers and growing to global BD teams.

Cross-Functional Operations & Worldwide Seller Success Support

  • Work closely with Operations Marketing Programming and Global Seller Success to support seller journeys and resolve issues.
  • Co-lead strategic cross-functional initiatives in support of global Business Development collaborating with third-party resources and data enrichment programs to effectively source leads and drive seller acquisition.

Reporting Automation & SOP Development

  • Own reporting on top-of-funnel metrics and deliver updates in weekly meetings covering application volumes and qualification rates.
  • Optimize and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for lead vetting candidate prioritization and sourcing strategy to ensure consistency and efficiency in the recruitment process.

Strategic & Operational Support

  • Support initiatives to transition high-performing sellers into eBay Live by collaborating with core functional partners. Own the process for both cold and scaled outreach as well as direct campaigns aimed at sourcing eBay Live candidates from the existing seller base on .
  • Collaborate with leadership to build a comprehensive BD playbook and streamline global vetting processes.

  • Proven experience working with external and cross-functional partners
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills including strong proficiency in Excel
  • CRM experience required with a strong preference for Salesforce
