Summary: The Philanthropic Partnerships Coordinator provides administrative and coordination support to CIRIs Associate Director of Philanthropic Partnerships across foundation and grants management corporate partnerships faith-based engagement and legislative advocacy. This full-time role supports relationship management communication scheduling and CRM tracking for more than 100 foundations and a wide range of corporate faith and legislative partners. The Coordinator works closely with the Philanthropic Partnerships team and the larger Development team to support events reporting and activities that advance CIRIs mission of serving refugees and immigrants across Connecticut.


Job Responsibilities:


Foundation Relations & Grants Support

  • Maintain and update a comprehensive calendar for 100 foundations corporations and funding entities.
  • Gather organize and format internal program data for grant applications and reports.
  • Conduct foundation and corporate research and prepare concise summaries.
  • Review or draft sections of grant proposals and reports as assigned.
  • Track grant submissions responses award amounts and reporting requirements in Bloomerang.

Corporate Partnerships

  • Support cultivation and stewardship of corporate partners through scheduling communications and meeting preparation.
  • Assist with planning corporate engagement activities.
  • Maintain CRM records for corporate contacts commitments and meetings.

Faith-Based Partnerships

  • Provide administrative and logistical support for outreach to congregations and faith groups.
  • Track faith-based partnership activity and engagement.
  • Assist with materials and logistics for faith-focused events and gatherings.

Legislative Advocacy

  • Support planning and logistics for advocacy events.
  • Track outreach activities appointments follow-up and documentation.
  • Prepare briefing materials contact lists and event logistics.

Administrative & CRM Responsibilities

  • Schedule internal and external meetings related to philanthropic partnerships; prepare agendas and manage calendars.
  • Enter and maintain Bloomerang records for foundation corporate and faith-based contacts (no financial or accounting entry required).
  • Generate CRM-based reports queries and lists to support engagement efforts.
  • Assist with donor tours legislative engagements and other partnership events.

Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work closely with the Associate Director of Philanthropic Partnerships to coordinate with program staff on outcomes data and narrative content for proposals and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of administrative development or nonprofit experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
  • Excellent writing editing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); comfort working in CRM databases.
  • Ability to work independently exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated reliability attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising or grants a plus.
  • Strong alignment with CIRIs mission and commitment to inclusivity equity and empowerment for refugees immigrants and survivors.
