The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for leading complex sales pursuits and RFP responses end-to-end acting as the orchestration point across sales solutioning finance legal delivery and executive stakeholders. This role requires a strong sales mindset combined with disciplined project management ensuring high-quality compliant and competitive proposals delivered within tight timelines.

The successful candidate will drive win strategy execution manage multiple workstreams in parallel and ensure that the final proposal clearly articulates business value differentiation and commercial competitiveness.

About this role:

The Senior Bid Manager is responsible for leading complex sales pursuits and RFP responses end-to-end acting as the orchestration point across sales solutioning finance legal delivery and executive stakeholders. This role requires a strong sales mindset combined with disciplined project management ensuring high-quality compliant and competitive proposals delivered within tight timelines.

What Youll Do:

Bid & Opportunity Leadership

  • Lead and manage complex bids and sales opportunitiesfrom qualification through submission and contract award.
  • Own the bid governance planning milestones and delivery cadence ensuring alignment with sales strategy and deadlines.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for bid execution quality and on-time delivery.

Sales & Commercial Enablement

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to shape and execute win strategies value propositions and differentiators.
  • Ensure proposals are customer-centric outcome-focused and aligned with client business objectives.
  • Drive commercial discipline including pricing inputs assumptions risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Orchestrate contributions from solution architects delivery teams finance legal procurement and SMEs.
  • Facilitate executive and governance reviews ensuring timely decisions and clear accountability.
  • Manage internal and external dependencies across multiple parallel workstreams.

Quality Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with RFP requirements contractual terms and internal governance processes.
  • Identify bid risks early and proactively define mitigation actions.
  • Maintain high standards for proposal quality clarity and consistency.

Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Management

  • Capture lessons learned from bids and contribute to bid excellence frameworks templates and best practices.
  • Mentor junior bid managers or sales support resources when applicable.

Who You Are

  • 8 years of experiencein Bid Management Proposal Management Sales Operations or complex Project Management within a sales environment.
  • Proven track record of leading large complex and high-pressure sales pursuits.
  • Strong experience in RFP/RFQ/RFI processes contract-driven environments and commercial negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Solid understanding of sales cycles win strategies and value-based selling.
  • Experience working in matrixed global organizationsis highly desirable.
  • English

In addition to the basic qualifications noted above we find that individuals who are successful in this role have:

  • Experience in IT services outsourcing managed services or complex solution sales
  • Familiarity with bid governance frameworks and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Project Management or Bid Management certifications (PMP APMP or equivalent)
