About the role

Are you driven to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with mental health and psychosocial disabilities
selectability is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to provide leave coverage from 12 January 2026 to 20 January 2026. This short-term leadership role requires a strong commitment to enhancing mental health services and the ability to lead with confidence and compassion.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • lead and manage the delivery of Psychosocial Service Delivery and Block Funded Programs
  • coach and support a team of Personal Care Workers to tailor services to the needs of recipients
  • build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across clinical community and primary health services
  • representselectabilityat local and regional network meetings forums and events

About you

To be considered for this rewarding role you will have:

  • experience leading teams programs and services in mental health disability or community services
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • a demonstrated high level of attention to detail with a consistent approach
  • a demonstrated ability to prioritise conflicting priorities as required
  • ability to work under minimal supervision with the capacity to exercise initiative in the application of work processes and procedures and establish objectives and outcomes
  • a demonstrated ability to show empathy and compassion
  • a proven ability to think critically and approach challenges with innovation

Role Requirements

  • certificate IV in Mental Health (desirable)
  • occasional out of hours work may be required from time to time
  • some travel to selectability sites may be required from time to time
  • current nationally recognised first aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
  • ability to work a rotating on call roster from time to time
  • a Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • a Positive Outcome for a Child Safety Personal History check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Quality Safety & You completion certificate (or the ability to obtain)
  • a current minimum P1 C class Queensland drivers licence
  • roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance

About the offer

The is a casual acting position from the 12 January 2026 - 20 January 2026based in Townsville.
