The Front Office Clerk serves as the vital first point of contact for students parents and visitors at our public high school. This position involves a range of administrative and clerical duties to support the daily operations of the school. Responsibilities include managing phone calls greeting visitors handling student attendance records and maintaining accurate files. The Front Office Clerk will assist with scheduling coordinating communication between staff and families and providing general support to faculty and administration. Strong organizational skills attention to detail and a friendly demeanor are essential as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide receptionist and clerical support to the Main officeProvide coverage in the front lobby and main office of the schoolAnswer incoming telephone calls forward to appropriate person or take messages as requiredGreet and assist visitors issue visitor badges maintain security by following proceduresManage student daily attendance. Assist students with tardy & dismissal slipsEnter all tardy and dismissal slips into AspenDistribute receive sort and maintain organization in the supply event support as requested by administration Mass mailings folding stuffing and affixing postage to envelopesManage student obligation process with direction from teachers and administration Mail: Sort mail maintain staff mailboxes keep mailroom tidyCopier and Postage Machine: Work with vendor on issues maintain suppliesStudent Emergency Contact Forms: Maintain ER Forms Organize Mailing Data Entry Info Follow Up with Parents Provide copies to the crises school phone listings maintain staff phone listings provide staff with yearly calendars and monthly rotation above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
