Our Hospice is hiring aRegistered Nurse (RN) for our Palliative Care Clinic. This position shall be responsible for meeting the nursing care needs of assigned patients/families in the Palliative Care Clinic. Care will be provided in accordance with physician orders and organizational standards focusing on comfort dignity and quality of life.

This role will work Tuesday-Friday 7am 5:30pm.

An RN at Palliative Care will:

  • Provide nursing care and complete assessments of patient/family needs including physical emotional and bereavement status.
  • Offer consultation and education on end-of-life issues and palliative care.
  • Educate partner physicians hospital staff and social service organizations.
  • Collaborate with referral sources and coordinate palliative care consults.
  • Prepare patients for provider visits including vital signs and record updates.
  • Assist with routine physical exams and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Participate in organizational activities and committees as appropriate.

An RN at Our Hospice Needs:

  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN)
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Indiana
  • One to three years experience in health care preferred
