Zooxs internship program offers hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology mentorship from some of the industrys brightest minds and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to real projects. We seek interns who demonstrate strong academic performance engagement beyond the classroom intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in Zooxs mission.
As an intern on Zooxs Procurement and Strategic Partnerships Team you will support the team in developing our launch and test facilities and advancing our sustainability goals.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with charging partners and conducting energy industry research to grow our charging ecosystem
- Cross-functional operational deep dive to drive scalable high-efficiency charging site operations
- Working cross-functionally to develop long-term operational partnerships to support our Go-To-Market efforts
- Driving Zooxs sustainability initiatives in pursuit of our Climate Pledge goal and GHG Reduction strategy
Program Requirements
- Currently pursuing a MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Plan to return to school after completing the internship.
- Maintain good academic standing.
- Available to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June 2026.
- At least one prior industry internship co-op or relevant project experience.
- Willing and able to relocate to the Bay Area California for the duration of the internship.
- Interns may not use proprietary Zoox information in university theses publications or share it outside of Zoox.
Qualifications
- Experience managing complex projects with numerous cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving writing and communication skills
- Proficiency in leveraging Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
- Strong history of working effectively within a fast-paced highly collaborative setting
Bonus Qualifications
- Past professional experience in the mobility/transportation space
- Experience with complex cost modeling
- Experience of working on sustainability projects and understanding of GHG Protocols
Compensation:
The monthly salary range for this position is $6500 to $7500. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education. Additional benefits may include medical insurance and a housing stipend (relocation assistance will be offered based on eligibility).
