Roles & Responsibilities

JD:

• SaaS to SaaS migration DFS enterprise tech integration

• Manage and administer Microsoft O365/Google Workspace environment

• Plan and execute migrations: Strategize and implement migrations from on-premises or other cloud environments to Microsoft 365.
• Connect O365 or Google Workspace with other systems and applications using APIs and web services.
• Monitor system performance security and data integrity taking proactive measures to address potential problems
• Develop and maintain clear documentation and training materials for users
• Automate tasks and processes: Use PowerShell AppsScript or other scripting languages to automate administrative tasks and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to O365 and Google Workspace services and integrations.
• Provide prompt and effective technical support to users troubleshooting issues and answering questions
• Stay current with technology: Keep up-to-date with the latest O365 and Google Workspace features updates and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with other IT teams business units and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Work closely with the Architecture team to align the platforms to latest architecture and configuration
• Focus on building and maintaining the underlying operational aspects of the platform including remediating vulnerabilities

Notes:

• Day in the life:
• 3rd level engineering team
• Fielding questions from risk cybers sec architects
• Heavily involved with Google APIs
• Biggest piece of work in is the difference between Microsoft and Google (no compatibility)
• Goal: how do they improve the associate experience switching between the two platforms
• Governance work internally within their Microsoft tenant
• Some lift & shifts in the environment
• Been in the google space for almost 10 years
• PI Plan every quarter (determine priorities)
• 75%/25% of technical hands on work vs strategy/planning
• Deploying Gemini to all Capone associates
• Focus:
• Lift & shifts to their Microsoft tenant (meet all governance compliance to put data back into)
• This role is to help bring some Microsoft knowledge into Capone and assist in the migration process
• Need a person who can dispute things (a check and balance from the Microsoft perspective)
• Must Haves:
• Migration experience from Onprem to SaaS or SaaS to SaaS
• Someone from a Microsoft background would be preferred
• Engineering & governance experience in Microsoft
• Prefer someone with some level of Architecture experience (Microsoft 365)
• 5 10-year range of in-depth exp
• Love someone that has PowerShell and worked in the power platform (having Python Java Node etc. would be a benefit)
• PowerShell is a huge plus for this team
• AWS is also a plus for this role
